Follow us on Facebook to get up to date information on when our plants go on sale. We normally open the greenhouse mid-May and keep it open until the plants are gone
We typically start a wide variety of vegetables and a handful of flowers each season.
Our greenhouse favorites include tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, squashes, artichokes, cabbages, lettuces, broccoli, and more. What we grow changes year to year based on what our community is excited about.
We stay active on Facebook, sharing updates on what’s sprouting in the seed room and what will be heading into the greenhouse next. Each season, we ask our followers what they’d love to see us grow, and we do our best to bring those requests to life. Your input helps shape our plant lineup every spring, making Homegrown Harvest a true community‑supported garden.
We’ll begin posting updates as soon as seed‑starting season kicks off so our followers can stay in the loop on what’s growing and when.
As the seedlings mature, we share regular greenhouse updates so you know exactly what will be available and when it’s ready.
Each spring, we host an Opening Weekend, where visitors can stop by during our posted hours and browse the greenhouse at their own pace. After Opening Weekend, the greenhouse shifts to appointment‑only visits. We hope to eventually have someone available during the day to assist customers, but for now, we both work full‑time jobs and can’t be in the greenhouse during normal business hours. This system helps us balance our work schedules while still giving our community access to healthy, locally grown plants.
